Unidentified Cabinet Card from Wayne, Michigan Photographer Mamie Corlett

I have a fairly good memory so when I purchased this Wayne cabinet card and tracked it to the studio that William Corlett, first President of said village, owned with a man named Frank Hickok, I recalled that post by The Wayne Historical Society about two women photographers taking over for their dead husbands. Mamie Corlett was one of them and since the lone name appearing on this card is her married name we can assume that she had taken full charge of the studio by this time, Anna Hickok having sold her share in the venture in 1895. Now to identify the people.

Wings Over Wayne

Modern warfare jostles my soul not and World War II the least of all. Still, it didn't stop me from picking up this scarce specimen of Wings Over Wayne , or W. O. W. ,  which was published by the Special Service Office for the personnel of the Romulus Army Air Field, Romulus, Michigan during the great war, at an estate sale a few years back. Of course, it's only two pages from a 10 page or so newsletter so it doesn't give much insight into the goings on but this is a rare publication so one relishes even fragments. Though there is a bundle of these available on ABE Books for $550. I'll have to check John King Books and see if they have any lying about because that far exceeds my pay grade. Here are a few more photos from the bookstore listing:
