Apparently, seniors could ride the rails in Detroit on the cheap in the 1960s. I'm assuming that this was for a trolley system since the interurbans were long gone by then. I'm not really sure. Either way, I found this in a trashed home in either Redford or Dearborn five years or so back. A lot of hoarder sales start out in disarray and end up in total chaos. This, I pulled out of some drawer while likely standing on piles of papers and refuse. I would say that it's sad that somebody's life ends in such a state but when death comes does it really matter if you lived in immaculate splendor or clutter? Dead is dead.
