Apparently, seniors could ride the rails in Detroit on the cheap in the 1960s. I'm assuming that this was for a trolley system since the interurbans were long gone by then. I'm not really sure. Either way, I found this in a trashed home in either Redford or Dearborn five years or so back. A lot of hoarder sales start out in disarray and end up in total chaos. This, I pulled out of some drawer while likely standing on piles of papers and refuse. I would say that it's sad that somebody's life ends in such a state but when death comes does it really matter if you lived in immaculate splendor or clutter? Dead is dead. This is the living end of Ignacy Rzeczkowski, whomever he may have been.
